ASHRAE Standard 62.1 includes an IAQ Procedure as a performance-based alternative to the prescriptive Ventilation Rate Procedure. By cleaning and recirculating the air with AEIRO, buildings can safely reduce the volume of outside air they condition, cutting the energy spent heating and cooling outdoor air while maintaining healthy indoor air quality.
