TBPI Testing & Efficacy
Aeiro has conducted and sponsored independent laboratory testing to evaluate the performance and efficacy of its Targeted Bipolar Pulsed Ionization (TBPI®) technology. However, not every contaminant, microorganism, particle, or compound available for selection within the TBPI system has been individually tested by Aeiro in a controlled laboratory environment.
TBPI operating parameters and contaminant-specific settings are developed using a combination of Aeiro-sponsored laboratory testing, independent and field testing, peer-reviewed published scientific research, established microbiological and physicochemical data, and the analysis and recommendations of Aeiro's Ph.D.-level microbiologist and technical team.
The inclusion of a contaminant within the TBPI software, website, application, or contaminant database does not represent that Aeiro has independently laboratory-tested TBPI against that specific contaminant and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a particular reduction, removal, inactivation, or elimination rate.
Health Claims
Aeiro products are designed to improve indoor air quality and reduce or remove certain airborne contaminants under appropriate operating conditions. Aeiro does not represent or warrant that its products will prevent, diagnose, treat, cure, or eliminate any disease, illness, infection, or medical condition, and Aeiro does not make claims regarding individual health outcomes resulting from use of its products.
References to viruses, bacteria, mold, allergens, particulate matter, volatile organic compounds, or other contaminants describe the intended air-treatment function of the technology and should not be interpreted as medical or healthcare claims.
Performance Variability
Actual performance may vary based upon environmental conditions, contaminant concentration, airflow, system configuration, installation, operating time, exposure conditions, and other application-specific factors.
Laboratory and Real-World Performance
Laboratory testing is conducted under defined and controlled conditions and is useful for evaluating technology performance under those specific test parameters. Results achieved in a laboratory, test chamber, or other controlled environment should not be assumed to represent the same level, rate, or speed of performance in every real-world application.
Actual field performance may vary based on factors including room size, airflow and air changes, system configuration, contaminant type and concentration, contaminant generation rate, temperature, humidity, filtration, equipment placement, exposure time, building conditions, occupancy, and other environmental or operational variables.
Published laboratory results should therefore be interpreted as performance demonstrated under the conditions of the specific test and not as a guarantee that identical results will be achieved in a particular building, room, or application.
Third-Party Research
Where direct Aeiro laboratory testing is not available for a specific contaminant, TBPI settings may be derived from scientifically relevant characteristics of that contaminant and from published research involving the contaminant itself, comparable organisms or compounds, or applicable mechanisms of action.
General Product Disclaimers
TBPI and other Aeiro air-cleaning technologies are intended to complement, rather than replace, appropriate ventilation, filtration, source control, infection-control procedures, medical treatment, or other measures recommended or required by applicable authorities.
